Position: Cash Transfer Officer (URGENT)

Location: Sibusire, Oromia

Salary: Gross $1,000

Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participate in program and sector planning processes.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support on the startup, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of cash transfer activities.
  3. Develop and facilitate team access to tools for use in beneficiary selection processes, registration, disbursement, and monitoring.
  4. Coordinate internal and external support for the implementation of sector activities.
  5. Actively participate in cash sector platforms, clusters, and working groups.
  6. Assist in the identification of beneficiary communities/targeting.
  7. Ensure appropriate community messages are transferred to key actors.
  8. Conduct beneficiary feedback and response mechanism (BFRM) activities.
  9. Work with and provide timely technical support to DPO’s implementing partners.
  10. Align with DPO safety and security procedures and support security monitoring and assessments.

Skill and Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social works, development studies, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the humanitarian sector.
  • Experience in implementing cash assistance projects.
  • Knowledge of the local language is a must.
