Habesha Breweries is seeking a motivated professional for the following position:


Position: Junior Brand Manager

Job Summary:
The Junior Brand Manager will support the development and execution of the annual brand plan for one brand. The role focuses on implementing brand initiatives, including creative campaigns, promotional programs, visibility strategies, media plans, and sponsorship activities. This position involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve brand objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Performance Analysis & Reporting

Brand & Marketing Support:

  • Assist in developing and executing brand strategies and annual brand plans.
  • Support cross-functional projects, ensuring collaboration between sales, market research, promotions, and advertising teams.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and performance tracking to drive brand improvements.

Advertising & Communication:

  • Contribute to the creative development and execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Help develop media strategies and monitor digital brand communications to ensure compliance with guidelines.
  • Assist in evaluating advertising effectiveness through pre- and post-campaign assessments.

Sponsorship, Promotions & Visibility:

  • Support sponsorship strategies and promotional initiatives to boost brand presence.
  • Collaborate with trade marketing to design and implement point-of-sale materials and visibility strategies.
  • Evaluate the impact of sponsorships and visibility activities, recommending optimization measures.

Budget & Data Analysis:

  • Assist in tracking budgets and analyzing the cost-effectiveness of brand activities.
  • Utilize Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presenting marketing insights.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or related roles (preferably in an FMCG environment)
  • Exposure to brand planning, consumer insights, advertising, and media management
  • Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams is an advantage
