Job Summary:
The District Legal Attorney is responsible for:
- Providing legal opinions.
- Reviewing documents to assure their validity.
- Reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with forms and substance.
- Initiating legal actions and handling court cases in consultation with the Legal Department.
Job Requirements:
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
- Additional certifications in law, banking, finance, or similar fields are an added advantage.
- Knowledge of the local language is an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Technical Competencies:
- Proficient in case management and litigation strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of litigation/dispute resolution and commercial law.
- Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Experience in drafting legal documents and contract management.
- Strong communication skills for complex legal issues.
