Position: Retail Customer Relationship Manager – IFB (Interest Free Banking Process)
Position Summary:
The Retail Customer Relationship Manager is responsible for recruiting and retaining Sharia-compliant customers, building strong business relationships, and providing tailored end-to-end banking services. The role involves resource mobilization, credit assessment, loan monitoring, and risk management while ensuring compliance with Sharia principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Recruit new Sharia-compliant retail customers through various channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and address customer needs and concerns proactively.
- Credit Assessment & Origination
- Advise customers on financing options and Sharia-compliant products.
- Conduct due diligence, including financial analysis and site visits.
- Prepare and present comprehensive credit applications for approval.
- Loan Monitoring & Management
- Monitor loan performance and address potential risks or delinquencies.
- Develop and implement strategies for non-performing loans.
- Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and Sharia principles.
- Identify and manage potential risks effectively.
- Resource Mobilization
- Maximize deposits and revenue streams to support the bank’s resource mobilization efforts.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- BA or MA/MSc Degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Management, Business Management, or other related fields.
Experience:
- 6 years of relevant banking experience, including a minimum of one year in roles such as:
- Customer Relationship Manager
- Manager-Operation Management
- Customer Service Manager
- Manager-Customer Relationship Management
- Credit Analyst
- Manager-Service Marketing and Digital Banking
Required Competencies:
- Familiarity with retail banking products (e.g., savings, loans, credit cards).
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment frameworks.
- Ability to advise and direct customers effectively.
- Awareness of local and international banking laws (AML, KYC, FATCA).
- Proficiency in CRM tools and core banking systems.
