Position: Storekeeper

About MeQrez Health Services:

MeQrez Health Services is a share company established in October 2020 with the mission of strengthening Ethiopia’s health sector. The company focuses on multiple health-related projects including a General Hospital, a Chain of Pharmacies, an Imaging & Diagnosis Center, and the Import and Export of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Consumables. In its initial phase, MeQrez is dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality healthcare services by Ethiopians for Ethiopians. MeQrez General Hospital is currently seeking experienced and visionary candidates to join their team in the position of Storekeeper.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the reception, storage, dispatch, and daily management of the company’s stock of materials and equipment.
  • Verify the conformity of materials received and dispatched/delivered.
  • Oversee inventory management including stock rotation, verifying availability, procurement, tidying, cleaning, and conducting inventory checks.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions using inventory management software and recording books.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Coordinate with procurement and finance departments to ensure timely and efficient stock replenishment.
  • Monitor and manage the lifecycle of stock, identifying slow-moving and obsolete items for disposal or reallocation.
  • Implement and uphold health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.

About You – Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: BA Degree or Diploma in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Marketing Management, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience with a BA Degree or 4 years with a Diploma, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability in data collection and analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to take on multiple tasks and additional responsibilities.

Salary:

  • As per the company scale and benefit packages.

Term of Employment:

  • Permanent, upon satisfactory completion of the probationary period.
