Deborah Foundation invites qualified and competent candidates to apply for the following positions:

1. Office Secretary

Educational Background & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Proven proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Affan Oromo, Amharic, and English.
  • Proven ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in all three languages.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in office equipment, software, and technology, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service with a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle various tasks and changing priorities.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues.

2. Fundraising and Research Expert

Educational Background & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, donor relations, or resource development.
  • Proven track record of securing significant gifts and grants from a diverse range of funding sources.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising materials.
  • Proficient in the use of donor database software, research tools, and other relevant technologies.
  • Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to sustainability and growth.

3. Web and Social Media Officer

Educational Background & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in website management, social media marketing, and digital content creation.
  • Proficient in using a variety of content management systems, social media platforms, and digital analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective digital content.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to leveraging digital channels to drive impact.
