1. Senior International Assistance Officer – Sudan Program
- Location: The Embassy of Canada to Ethiopia
- Salary: 1,915,334 ETB per annum
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent post-graduate level) in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- Language Proficiency:
- Advanced level of English (spoken, written, comprehension).
- Advanced level of Arabic (spoken, written, comprehension).
Experience:
- Minimum of three years managing complex international assistance programming.
- Minimum of three years conducting or leading complex research/analysis related to international assistance or bilateral relations.
- Experience in building and maintaining a professional network.
Key Competencies:
- Knowledge:
- International assistance trends and socio-political situation in Sudan.
- Global Affairs Canada’s international assistance and foreign policy priorities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Competencies:
- Sound judgment, professional integrity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
- Abilities:
- Analyze, plan, and manage all aspects of project and program management.
- Manage time, balance multiple priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Provide substantive input, analysis, and strategic recommendations to management.
- Establish and maintain a network of relevant contacts.
