Position 1: Hostess

Skills and Educational Background:

  • Relevant degree/diploma/certificate in Hotel Operation/Hotel Management or Related Fields.
  • COC Certification is a mandatory requirement.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in related operations.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Good interaction with guests.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

  • Be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
  • Utilize the outlet point-of-sales and table assignment system as prescribed.
  • Be flexible in meeting special requests from guests for specific table assignments or other requests.
  • Maintain the entrance area and host/hostess station in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
  • Maintain the restaurant’s guest history system.
  • Work in a supportive and flexible manner with other employees and departments.
  • Treat all operating equipment and supplies carefully to minimize damage and reduce wastage.
  • Take and manage reservations and table assignments as prescribed by the Outlet Manager.
  • Follow all telephone usage guidelines, using the guest’s name and standard greetings as prescribed by the Outlet Manager.
  • Wish guests “goodbye” as they leave the restaurant, as prescribed by the Outlet Manager.
  • Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring problems are resolved satisfactorily.

Position 2: Income Auditor

Skills and Educational Background:

  • Degree/Diploma or Equivalent in Accounting & Finance from a recognized college.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience as an Income Auditor in a hotel or similar large organization or accounting firm is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to write reports.
  • Good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

  • Be flexible and seek job rotation within the departments as assigned.
  • Be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.
  • Accurately and promptly distribute all in-coming mails, memos, and internal correspondence as required.
  • Set up a systematic and efficient filing system for both hard files and electronic data, ensuring quick retrieval and keeping all files up to date.
  • Be proficient with all computer software used in the Finance Division.
  • Courteously and assertively handle all in-coming telephone calls or inquiries.
  • Ensure that the Place of Work is kept clean and organized at all times.
  • Responsible for filing daily, all of night audits work after verification.
  • Responsible for all journal postings into the income journal.
  • Total, balance, and close-out the income journal at the end of each month.
  • Prepare all necessary journal vouchers for the end of the month.
  • Audit and complete the General Cashier’s summary and provide it to the general cashier to create cash journals, ensuring daily posting by the chief accountant.
  • Complete the income journal checklist daily and weekly, submitting each to the chief accountant for verification and Financial Controller approval.
  • Maintain accurate operating statistics.
  • Submit all rebates, house charges, and paid-outs for chief accountant verification and Financial Controller’s approval.
  • Maintain a log book and record all discrepancies to be brought to the attention of the Financial Controller for follow-up.
  • Prepare the daily revenue reconciliation.
  • Prepare the daily output Z report reconciliation.
  • Prepare the daily & month-end Output VAT reconciliation and coordinate with Accounts Payables to declare.
