About the Job

Responsibilities:

  • Handle personnel matters such as recruitment, placement, transfer, promotion, demotion, termination, salary increment, and benefits administration as per company rules and labor law.
  • Participate in planning short- and long-term manpower requirements.
  • Process employee requisitions, check staffing plans and budgets, and seek approval for advertising vacancies.
  • Facilitate interviewing and testing of applicants and submit proposals to management.
  • Provide advice and guidance on company personnel policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Assist employees with personal and work-related problems.
  • Prepare and submit complex correspondence.
  • Resolve staff issues such as performance, absenteeism, and grievances through interviews and remedial actions.
  • Administer pension schemes, benefits, recreational facilities, and other welfare programs.
  • Handle employee disciplinary issues.
  • Liaise with HR units of respective plants/factories to meet manpower requirements and address personnel matters.
  • Maintain confidential personnel records.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Public Administration, or a related field from a recognized university/college.
  • At least 3 years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Hillmark) is an advantage.
