1. Customer Service Representative

Location: Addis Ababa

Purpose of the Program:

Zemen Bank is seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to join various departments and banking centers. The primary purpose of this role is to work in high-performing teams to deliver excellent customer service. This role is responsible for providing primary level information about the bank, maintaining office appearance and atmosphere, organizing departmental/branch records, handling correspondences, and performing secretarial duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and apply Zemen Bank standards, procedures, and methodologies to assignments.
  • Provide accurate and timely data on assigned tasks, utilizing appropriate knowledge sources.
  • Develop constructive working relationships with co-workers.
  • Maintain personal progress and knowledge in specialized sectors.
  • Maintain strong work habits that contribute to the growth and profitability of the bank.
  • Work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Be a competent team player with a strong interest in the industry.
  • Demonstrate personal motivation and drive through dedication to hard work, continual development, and goal attainment.
  • Perform additional activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Skill and Educational Background:

  • B.A. Degree in Marketing, Communications, SSOM, Digital Marketing, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or related Business fields.
  • Graduates of 2023/24 G.C. with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 are eligible to apply.

Competencies Required:

  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Willingness to work under supervision and learn new skills.
  • Focus on high quality and risk minimization.
  • Basic computer skills.
