The history of NBE dates back to 1943 when the then State Bank of Ethiopia was established and later transformed into the National Bank of Ethiopia in 1963. The Bank has been given the powers and duties to license and supervise banks, insurers, and other financial institutions; coin, print or cause to be coined, printed and circulated the legal tender currency; act as banker, fiscal agent and financial advisor to the government; and exercise such other powers and functions as central banks customarily perform. 1. Administrative Assistant I
Location: Dire Dawa
Salary: 10,000 ETB
Job Description:
- Greets and directs visitors, including employees and customers.
- Types reports and other periodic performance reports.
- Manages and organizes files and records.
- Facilitates office facilities (stationery and other supplies).
- Organizes/arranges meetings, takes minutes, and prepares reports of the meetings.
- Receives and handles different incoming and outgoing correspondences.
- Prepares letters/memos and distributes the letters when signed and instructed to concerned parties.
- Follows up and ensures that outgoing letters and correspondences are timely dispatched to the intended addressee.
- Registers all outgoing letters and correspondences and maintains a copy in the proper file.
- Produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes, study documents, and others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skill and Educational Background:
- Diploma or Level IV in Customer Contact and Secretarial Operation Coordination, Secretarial Science, Administrative Secretary, Office Administration and Secretarial Science, and Administrative Services Management & Technology System or related fields.
- No prior experience required, but CoC Level IV is obligatory.
- Age shall not exceed 40 years.
