Dorina Engineering is seeking qualified and competent candidates for the position of Junior Sales Engineer. This role requires technical expertise and excellent communication skills to prepare and deliver proposals for various electromechanical equipment and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare bid technical and financial proposals for Submersible Pumps, Surface Pumps, Diesel Generators, and other electromechanical equipment and works as per the instruction of the bid document.
- Accept clients’ specified requirements and propose appropriate products and services that meet their needs.
- Prepare and deliver proforma invoices and datasheets to the client according to the specifications, with guidance from the manager and suppliers.
- Promote and explain the technical features, benefits, and advantages of the products.
- Promote and explain the benefits related to supply, delivery, quality, warranty, and price of the products.
- Prepare tender proposals as instructed by tender documents.
- Submit tender proposals and participate in tender opening readings, preparing reports accordingly.
- Search for tenders from newspapers, websites, and other potential sources and relay them to the concerned body.
- Prepare and maintain checklists for bid documents, technical, and financial readings.
- Assist in binding, sealing, and submitting tender proposals, and participate in tender opening readings, preparing reports.
- Follow up on the progress of submitted proforma and tender proposals.
- Visit prospective clients in private, government, NGO, and other companies to promote our products and services.
- Enter, record, store, and maintain information and reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Qualifications:
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Related work experience in tender preparation of electromechanical equipment and works.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
- A clean and neatly prepared CV is preferred.
