1: Receptionist

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Compassionate and understanding demeanor to address patients’ needs and anxieties
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments efficiently according to physician availability and patient needs
  • Register new patients and collect necessary information and insurance details
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays as needed (following hospital guidelines)
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Direct patients and visitors to appropriate locations within the hospital
  • Assist patients with completing forms and understanding hospital procedures
  • Provide clear and concise information about hospital services, policies, and visiting hours
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Restock supplies and ensure proper operation of office equipment
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following established protocols
  • Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with regulations
  • Work collaboratively with other hospital staff members to ensure a positive patient experience

2: Call Operator

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in computer skills, including familiarity with customer service software (a plus)
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
  • Greet callers and listen attentively to their inquiries and requests
  • Identify customer needs and provide accurate and helpful information about our company and services
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate department or representative
  • Take clear and concise messages
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisors as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all calls and interactions
  • Process payments (if applicable)
  • Perform basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments (if applicable)
  • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment
