Position: Sales Engineer (Bid Expert)
Location: Sarbet, Addis Ababa
Job Description:
- Develop the software and hardware solution procurement process in the fast-paced setting of an IT company.
- Create Request for Proposal (RFP) and Terms of Reference (ToR)-compliant business and technical proposals.
- Engage in pre-sales activities and showcase expertise across various products and client types.
- Collaborate with international vendors to secure competitive prices and favorable terms for clients.
- Prepare detailed business and technical proposals for bids, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry.
- Present products to potential clients, maintaining active communication and relationship-building.
- Generate leads, follow up with prospects, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Skill and Educational Background:
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Software Engineering, or any IT-related sector.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience selling technology items for a recognized tech company.
- Experience in creating technical and business documentation.
- Proficient in preparing and submitting bid proposals, with a solid understanding of the Ethiopian bidding environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
