1. Settlement Officer

Location: Addis Ababa

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or related subjects.
  • Knowledge of bank procedures.
  • Confidence working with numbers.
  • Confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Good organizational and decision-making abilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing back office transactions.
  • Preparing daily trade reports.
  • Monitoring account transactions.
  • Managing client accounts.
  • Reconciling balances.

Technical & Other Skills:

  • Proficient with computers.
  • Ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working independently and managing personal time, keeping deliverables and deadlines in mind.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong writing, phone, and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Trustworthy.
  • Excellent arithmetic skills.
