The AAU School of Public Health invites interested and qualified applicants to apply for the following vacant positions:


1: Project Finance Officer

Location: Addis Ababa

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Degree in Financial/Accounting.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Finance Officer.
  • Experience in managing project finances.
  • Experience in managing government donor-funded and/or multi-partner project budgets is advantageous.
  • Accurate with strong attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of fund accounting, including reporting requirements of donors.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • High level of organizational and administrative skills with the ability to work well under pressure.

2: Project Coordinator for Capacity Building and Mentorship Project (CBMP)

Location: Addis Ababa

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Master’s degree in public health, health informatics, project management (health-related), health service management, monitoring and evaluation (health-targeted), or related fields.

Experience:

  • At least five years of proven work experience.
  • At least two years of experience in the area of Health Information Systems (HIS).
  • Experience in project coordination.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent organizing and prioritizing skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheet, and data analysis software such as SPSS and STATA.
  • Ability to represent the project on various platforms.
  • Fluency in spoken English.
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports.
