1. Shelter & NFI Officer

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate initiation, implementation, and supervision of Shelter and ES NFI project activities.
  • Coordinate with camp-level partners, IDP representatives, and local administration.
  • Ensure standard of constructions are maintained per SPHERE and Shelter Cluster standards.
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
  • Implement Shelter & NFI SoPs and ensure high technical quality of projects.
  • Contribute to the development of Shelter project strategies.
  • Support beneficiary trainings and distributions of NFIs.
  • Promote the rights of IDPs in line with advocacy strategy.

Job Requirements:

  • BA Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years practical experience in construction supervision with NGOs.
  • Knowledge of SPHERE standards and humanitarian contexts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD or CIVIL3D.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

2. Project Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead DPO Borena Zone Humanitarian response intervention.
  • Actively engage in project implementation, assessment, planning, and coordination.
  • Manage WASH, Protection, and Agricultural projects.
  • Facilitate trainings, team development, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with standards and contractual obligations.

Required number: 1

Job Requirements:

  • BSc/BA or MA/MSc in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in an NGO setup.
  • Management experience in Humanitarian response and multi-sectoral projects.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

3. WaSH Officer/Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as focal point for WASH activities.
  • Participate in needs assessments, planning, and implementation of WASH programs.
  • Prepare designs and drawings for water points and infrastructures.
  • Supervise construction and maintenance activities.
  • Facilitate community participation and hygiene promotion.

Required number: 1

Job Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc Degree in Water Supply and Environmental Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D and design software.
  • Ability to work in multicultural teams under difficult conditions.
