Main Job Purpose:
The role holder will support Operations in the CD Finance team, ensuring effective management and support of all stakeholders within set turnaround times.
Key Interactions:
- Internal: Interfaces with other departments on payment of invoices.
- External: Engages with key distributors, liaises with banks on enquiries/issues relating to payment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Daily VAT receipt collection and maintenance of proper documentation.
- Monthly submission and reconciliation to the tax team.
- Weekly updates to CDF on progress and point of contact for Key Distributors (KDs).
- Claims logging to CDF and weekly reminders/follow-up on VAT receipts.
- Ensuring proper support and documentation, assisting with audits, and supporting on controls documentation filing.
Employment Type: 6-month Contract
Skills and Educational Background:
- University Graduate in Finance or a business-related field.
- Professional qualifications CPA/ACCA.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Finance role, FMCG experience is an advantage.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and strong attention to detail.
- Strong forecasting skills using viable data and ability to determine and apply correct accounting treatments.
- Able to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and business risks.
