Position: Contract Administrator/QS Engineer
Location: Anywhere in Ethiopia
Top Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external parties involved in contract agreements.
- Resolving disputes or issues arising during contract relationships.
- Identifying and assessing risks associated with contracts and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Evaluating and refining contract management processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Documenting design changes and updating budgets.
- Carrying out instructions from senior management and coordinating project requirements for timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Understanding and managing contract conditions and requirements, including PPA, FIDIC, and time & cost claims.
- Carrying out any other duties and responsibilities as required by the management team.
Skill and Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in a construction company specializing in Road and Bridge construction projects.
- Experience with international companies is advantageous.
- Strong alignment with commercial awareness, honesty, and integrity.
