Job Summary:
As a Senior Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting project-targeted health facilities in planning and implementing preventive and curative health and nutrition services. Your responsibilities will include conducting outreach activities, adhering to national protocols and universal health standards, and collaborating with local authorities and agencies.
Skill and Educational Background:
- BSc Degree in health discipline (Public Health/Nursing, Midwifery, Medicine) or equivalent.
- 3 years of relevant work experience for Degree holders, or 5 years for Diploma holders.
- Experience in NGO settings is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Word, Excel).
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with fluency in Amharic & Tigrigna required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
- Experience in providing training and capacity building for staff.
