Open Positions

1. Branch Manager

📌 Job Summary:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and control the activities of a branch office.
  • Approve loans, overdraft facilities, and foreign transfers within discretion limits.
  • Ensure implementation of banking policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate business backgrounds for credit approvals and recommend new lending activities.
  • Provide financial advisory services to clients.
  • Take disciplinary action against employees as delegated by the Bank President.

📚 Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.

💼 Experience:

  • 6 years of banking operations experience.
  • Knowledge of Interest-Free Banking (IFB) is advantageous.

2. Branch Operation Supervisor

📌 Job Summary:

  • Provide back-office banking services, including account reconciliation.
  • Supervise daily operations, including cash handling and transactions.
  • Prepare adjusting and closing entries.
  • Authorize payments and transactions within set limits.
  • Ensure efficient customer service and address customer complaints.
  • Manage branch vaults, interbank accounts, and cheque book stocks.

📚 Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.

💼 Experience:

  • 4 years of banking operations experience.
  • Knowledge of Interest-Free Banking (IFB) is advantageous.

📍 Work Location: Addis Ababa, Semera, Woldia


3. Senior Customer Service Officer

📌 Job Summary:

  • Maintain dual control keys of the branch vault.
  • Issue and receive cash from tellers.
  • Approve large cash deposits within set limits.
  • Arrange cash consignments to the Treasury Department.
  • Assign daily teller duties through the system.
  • Coordinate cash transactions at the branch.

📚 Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.

💼 Experience:

  • 3 years of banking operations experience.
  • Knowledge of Interest-Free Banking (IFB) is advantageous.
