Digaf Microcredit Provider Vacancy Announcement


Digaf Microcredit Provider, a tech-based microfinance institution, invites qualified applicants for the following positions. The institution has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS) to facilitate access to affordable digital loan products for low- and medium-income individuals. Digaf aims to provide financial relief through technology-driven financial solutions, including “Buy Now, Pay Later” financing and targeted loan products for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).


1. Treasury Officer

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Required Qualification:
    • BA/MA in Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
    • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in corporate treasury/finance operations, administration, secretarial roles, or banking operations
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of database management is an advantage
    • Strong command of written and spoken English
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong team player

2. Head of Green Financing

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Required Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related fields
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, including at least 2 years in loan administration, customer service, or related operations
    • Knowledge of green financing, sustainability, and environmental-related financial products (e.g., renewable energy, electric vehicles, etc.) is a plus
    • Strong understanding of loan documentation, disbursement, and collection processes
    • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in microfinance, green financing, sustainable finance, or fintech
    • Knowledge of relevant national and international environmental regulations
    • Fluency in English and local languages (Amharic and Afaan Oromo) is desirable

3. Retail Manager

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Required Qualification:
    • Proven experience as a Retail Manager, Branch Manager, or similar role in microfinance or financial services
    • Experience managing loan portfolios, collections, and customer service in the microfinance sector is preferred
    • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and financial goals
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields
    • Professional qualifications in microfinance or fintech are an advantage

4. Initiatives Manager

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Required Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Innovation Management, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus)
    • At least 5 years of experience in project management, product development, or innovation within financial services or fintech
    • Proven track record of successfully launching and implementing new initiatives or products
