Purpose of the Job
Manage the implementation of human rights programs, supervise resources, and ensure coordination with the Hub/Head Office.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- MA in Human Rights Law, LLM in Human Rights, International Law, or Public Law relevant to Human Rights.
- Exceptional LLB candidates may also be considered.
- Experience: 6 years of relevant experience with an MA.
- Skills:
- Oral and written communication.
- Time management.
- Problem-solving.
- Language Proficiency: Amharic required; other local languages are advantageous.
2. Human Rights Officer, Research, Campaign, and Advocacy
- Reports To: Director, Socio-economic Rights
- Duration: Open Contract/Indefinite Period
- Salary Range:
- Gross monthly salary: ETB 20,400.00 – ETB 23,683.00
- Additional Benefits:
- ETB 8,640.00 Housing Allowance
- ETB 3,300.00 Transport Allowance
Purpose of the Job
Support advocacy and campaign strategies to promote and protect economic and social human rights in Ethiopia.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- LLB/LLM in Human Rights Law or International Law.
- Experience:
- 4 years of relevant experience for LLB.
- 2 years of relevant experience for LLM.
- Skills: Strong communication skills.
- Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Amharic and English required; other local languages are advantageous.
