Siket Bank S.C. is seeking qualified and customer-oriented candidates to fill the following position:


Position: Receptionist

Number of Vacancies: 3
Location: Addis Ababa


Job Summary

The Entrance Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for customers entering the bank. This position requires excellent organizational and customer service skills to ensure a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and visitors warmly and direct them to appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Handle phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls as necessary.
  • Answer basic inquiries about bank services, policies, and locations.
  • Maintain security protocols by logging visitors and issuing visitor badges when necessary.
  • Keep the entrance area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and providing information about bank promotions or services.
  • Monitor visitor traffic and report unusual activity.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as mail management, filing, or office supply organization.

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification:

  • BA degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Hotel and Tourism Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a financial institution.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services (preferred).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Time management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.

Additional Certifications:

  • Certifications or training in office administration or customer service are an advantage.

Work Environment

  • Office setting within a bank.
  • May involve standing or sitting for extended periods.
  • Regular interaction with customers in person and over the phone.
