Program Overview
The UTokyo Amgen Scholars Program 2025 provides an exciting opportunity for international students to gain hands-on research experience in Japan. This fully funded summer internship at the University of Tokyo offers students the chance to work with top professors and researchers in various academic fields.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be international students of any nationality.
- Be enrolled in a college or university that awards a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
- Be an undergraduate student who has completed at least their first year of study by the internship start date.
- Plan to resume their undergraduate studies for at least one semester after the internship.
- Provide a letter from their university confirming that their education is conducted in English.
Additional Requirements:
- Live in UTokyo-provided accommodation.
- Participate fully in laboratory activities and respect lab protocols.
- Attend orientation and all required events.
- Present their work at the end of the program.
