Job Purpose
The Coordinator, Program will manage WASH initiatives, ensuring timely and effective program planning, reporting, communication, and logistics. Responsibilities include coordinating with PSI teams and consortium partners, compiling reports for donors and the Ethiopian government, and supporting key events and procurement processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Program Coordination:
- Coordinate periodic program reporting (biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) and compile inputs from PSI teams and partners.
- Prepare reports for donors and the Government of Ethiopia.
- Communication:
- Support the creation of newsletters, briefs, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with communication teams to develop stories, blogs, and other materials for program sharing.
- Logistics & Event Planning:
- Organize workshops, trainings, and meetings, including travel, accommodation, and venue bookings.
- Document outcomes and follow up on action items.
- Procurement & Compliance:
- Collaborate with procurement teams for timely acquisitions.
- Maintain proper program inventory and documentation for compliance with PSI and donor requirements.
- Documentation & Dissemination:
- Maintain organized records of contracts, proposals, and agreements.
- Share lessons learned with partners and stakeholders.
- Additional Tasks:
- Perform duties as assigned by the CoP/DCoP and other program staff.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- MA/BA in Project Management, Public/Environmental Health, Sociology, Social Sciences, Business Administration, International Development, or related fields.
Experience:
- 4 years (MA) or 6 years (BA) of relevant experience.
- Certifications in project management or WASH-related areas preferred.
Core Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of M&E concepts and tools.
- Basic budgeting and financial management skills.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
