Position 1: Senior Business Analyst

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, focusing on trends in technology and digital banking.
  • Analyze financial market trends, regulatory updates, and customer preferences to anticipate industry changes.
  • Prepare strategic insight reports for the Innovation Team.
  • Collaborate on strategic projects to drive innovation and market opportunities.
  • Develop business cases for new projects and assess market demand and financial viability.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of global and domestic macroeconomic factors affecting the banking industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in research and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and knowledge of banking regulations and digital banking trends.

Job Requirement:

  • Education: MA/BA in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3.5/5.5 years in market analysis, innovation, or strategic roles in the financial sector, with 2 years as an officer.

Position 2: Senior IT Risk Management Officer

Essential Functions:

  • Provide cost-effective solutions for identified security and IT risk issues.
  • Conduct risk reviews of IT control frameworks.
  • Build a network with other senior IT risk professionals.

Job Requirement:

  • Education: BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
  • Experience: 5.5/3.5 years in IT Risk/Audit, with 2 years in IT risk management or audit roles.
  • Location: Addis Ababa

Position 3: Senior Human Capital Training and Development Officer

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct job analyses and surveys to identify training needs.
  • Design and deliver training programs aligned with bank policies.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain a repository of training materials.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure training aligns with the bank’s goals.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong background in training design and delivery.
  • Experience in instructional design and program evaluation.
  • Additional Consideration: Certification in Training & Development (e.g., TOT certification) is advantageous.

Job Requirement:

  • Education: BA in HR Management, Management, Business Administration, or related fields (5.5 years of experience) or MBA/MA (3.5 years of experience).
  • Experience: Preferably in banking, with at least 2 years as an officer.
  • Location: Addis Ababa

Position 4: Team Leader – Business Analysis Team

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage a team of Senior Business Analysts.
  • Oversee market research and new business engagements.
  • Identify market opportunities and emerging technologies.
  • Align team output with the bank’s strategic priorities.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of global and domestic macroeconomic factors.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and financial modeling.
  • Deep understanding of banking regulations and market dynamics.

Job Requirement:

  • Education: MA/BA in Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
  • Experience: 5.5/7.5 years in financial analysis, strategic planning, or market analysis, with 2 years as a team leader.
