Job Description

The Project Clerk will support Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) under the direct supervision of the CCCM Senior Project Associate. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and clerical assistance in field locations, supporting the CCCM program.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general administrative tasks in project implementation.
  • Compile, summarize, and present project data on specific topics.
  • Monitor and update budget information.
  • Coordinate administrative actions with internal units and external parties.
  • Draft reports, correspondence, graphics, presentations, and other documentation.
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Respond to general inquiries and maintain files/records.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • Education:
  • High School diploma with three years of relevant experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law, or a related field from an accredited institution with one year of relevant experience.
  • Experience and Skills:
  • Experience liaising with government authorities, international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs.
  • Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, and vulnerable groups.
  • Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations or governmental institutions in a multicultural setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of humanitarian principles, community engagement, and accountability to affected populations.
  • Familiarity with mobile data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox).
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
