Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD), an indigenous civil society organization with over 27 years of experience in community development across Addis Ababa, Oromia, South Ethiopia, and Sidama, invites qualified applicants for the following positions:


1. Finance Officer (Shashemene Regional Office)

  • Job Grade and Section: G3-S1
  • Reporting to: Finance Manager
  • Contract Duration: 1 year, with possible extension based on performance
  • Location: Shashemene Regional Office, frequent travel to project sites
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable

Key Role:
Responsible for financial operations, accurate record-keeping, budget management, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.

Requirements:

  • BA/Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance
  • 4/2 years of experience in accounting and finance within the non-profit sector, including 1-2 years directly in finance.

2. IT Support Officer

  • Contract Duration: Maternity leave cover
  • Location: Addis Ababa, frequent travel to project sites
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable

Key Role:
Maintain IT systems, provide technical support, manage hardware/software, troubleshoot issues, and support organizational technological needs.

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • 2 years of relevant experience in the non-profit sector, with at least 1 year in the position.

3. Finance Officer (Addis Ababa)

  • Contract Duration: Maternity leave cover
  • Location: Addis Ababa, frequent travel to project sites
  • Employment Type: Full-time

Key Role:

4. Grant and Compliance Officer

  • Location: Addis Ababa, limited travel
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable

Key Role:
Oversee grant-related activities, ensure compliance with donor requirements, monitor grants, and provide support to program teams.

Requirements:

  • BA/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5/3 years of experience in finance, grant, and compliance management within the non-profit sector, including 1-2 years in the position.

5. Project Coordinator

  • Contract Duration: 1 year, with possible extension based on performance
  • Location: Addis Ababa, frequent travel to project sites
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable

Key Role:
Plan, implement, and monitor projects, coordinate activities, manage resources, and ensure compliance with donor requirements.

Requirements:

  • BA/Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields
  • 4/2 years of experience in project management within the non-profit sector, including 1-2 years in leadership.
