1. Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for classifying and codifying accounting documents, registering transactions, reconciling books, preparing financial statements, and cooperating with internal and external auditors.

  • Work Unit: Admin and Finance Division, ERCS-Branch
  • Reports to: Admin and Finance Division, ERCS-Branch
  • Terms of Employment: One-year contract with possible extension
  • Place of Work: Gamo Gofa ERCS-Branch, Arbaminch
  • Salary: As per the organization’s salary scale

Qualifications:

  • Second/First degree in Accounting/Accounting & Finance/Accounting Software
  • 4/6 years of related work experience
  • Experience with USAID or other USG-funded projects is an advantage
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of the local language is desirable

2. Admin and Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Admin and Finance Manager will manage financial and administrative activities, supervise cash inflow/outflow, ensure the timely preparation of reports, and enforce financial policies and procedures.

  • Work Unit: South Ethiopia Region, ERCS-Regional Branch, Wolaita Sodo
  • Reports to: Head, South Ethiopia Region, ERCS-Regional Branch
  • Terms of Employment: Permanent after the probation period
  • Place of Work: South Ethiopia Region, ERCS-Regional Branch, Wolaita Sodo
  • Salary: As per the organization’s salary scale

Qualifications:

  • Second/First degree in Accounting/Accounting & Finance/Management
  • 6/8 years of relevant experience, with 4/6 years in a managerial position
  • Proficiency in accounting software is mandatory

3. Program Management & Resource Mobilization Manager

Job Summary:

The Program Management & Resource Mobilization Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls the program and resource mobilization activities of the regional branch. The role includes coordinating disaster response, mobilizing regional funding, and developing project proposals.

  • Work Unit: South Ethiopia Region, ERCS-Regional Branch, Wolaita Sodo
  • Reports to: Head, South Ethiopia Region, ERCS-Regional Branch
  • Terms of Employment: Permanent after the probation period

Qualifications:

  • Second/First degree in Program Development, Development Studies, Disaster Risk Management, Social Work, Public Health, or related fields
  • 6/8 years of relevant experience, with 4/6 years in a managerial position
