1. Operations Agent
Skill and Educational Background:
- Experience: Prior experience in customs clearance within the transportation, logistics, or import/export industry.
- Education: Degree in any field.
- Other Requirements:
- Must be computer literate.
- A valid driving license is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all shipments (inbound and outbound) are processed according to local and DHL network standards, meeting transit time goals.
- Execute daily operations processes to satisfy customer needs.
- Implement contingency plans for emergencies or special customer requests.
- Assist with operational practices and procedures for effective service center management.
- Capture and share shipment information as required by the network.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipment clearance meets performance targets and transit times.
- Process shipments upon arrival, ensuring proper security and adherence to procedures.
- Attend and document physical inspections of shipments by authorities.
- Monitor registration and license requirements for DHL customs facilities.
