Job Summary:
The Branch Manager I is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the operations of a branch office. Key responsibilities include ensuring that banking procedures and regulations are followed, leading business development efforts, and maintaining strong customer service standards. The Branch Manager also prepares annual budgets, reports, and engages with the business community to promote bank services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to banking procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Lead sales and business development efforts.
- Guide customer service initiatives and branch operational excellence.
- Prepare and submit annual budget and progress reports.
- Participate in community activities to promote the bank’s services.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a bank, with at least one (1) year as a Customer Services Manager or in an equivalent role.
- Skills:
- Excellent team-building and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of commercial business law, banking regulations, and modern management techniques.
- Results-driven and customer-focused.
