Position: Sales Manager
Scope of Role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating revenue by working with marketing-generated leads and their own prospects. The role involves understanding client requirements and pitching the most suitable services across various disciplines. A detailed understanding of the services offered by Trade Ethiopia is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Execution:
- Conduct morning sales planning meetings.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Develop a strong knowledge of both local and international markets.
- Build, manage, and maintain a substantial sales pipeline, ensuring all activity is documented in the CRM system.
- Meet and exceed sales targets set by the Managing Director.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and ensure customers are invoiced promptly.
- Best Practices:
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Share resources, tactics, and techniques across the company.
- Work closely with the account management team to ensure seamless client handover.
- Represent Trade Ethiopia at industry events and contribute to the company blog.

About You:
- Qualification:
- Degree in Sales and Marketing or related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience in business service sales and managerial roles.
- Strong leadership skills and a valid driving license.
- Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience selling digital products, services, events, and subscription packages.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical with the ability to build intelligent sales strategies.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
