1. Position: Coffee Export Documentation Officer
Educational Background and Skills:
- BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or related fields from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the export business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate documentation for all coffee and sesame exports.
- Provide applicable coffee export documentation needed by each destination country.
- Adhere to export laws and regulations for consignments under diverse payment terms.
- Submit timely documentation directives to independent surveyors and freight forwarders for processing.
- Maintain up-to-date and structured coffee export files.
- Communicate with forwarders to facilitate the shipment process and ensure order volume flow.
- Analyze and negotiate shipping costs based on weight and consignment volume.
- Advise on the most cost-effective mode of transport.
- Verify freight received against receipt information and documentation.
- Sign for cargo using the correct time, date, and signature.
- Check inbound documentation for accuracy before reception and annotate receiving documentation with any discrepancies.
2. Position: Coffee Stock Controller
Educational Background and Skills:
- BA Degree in Accounting, Management, or related fields from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the same position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for different types of coffee stocks.
- Record coffee purchases and stock issued; maintain transactions in the database.
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with computer-generated reports.
- Issue export coffee by preparing appropriate documents.
- Issue reject coffee for local markets by preparing appropriate documents.
- Verify the correctness of coffee weight using a scale.
- Prepare all required documentation for coffee stock control.
- Generate, process, and send required receiving documents for payment.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily specific operations.
- Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location.
- Keep store policies and procedures updated.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are mandatory.
