1. Senior Public Relations Officer

Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa

Job Purpose:
The Senior Public Relations Officer supports the company’s spokesperson and is responsible for building relationships with government, media, and other stakeholders while ensuring the implementation of PR policies and procedures.

Skills and Educational Background:

  • BA or MA in Public Relations, Law, Management, or related fields of study.
  • Experience: 3 years for MA & 5 years for BA.

2. Head, Public Relations and CSR

Job Purpose:
The Head of Public Relations and CSR acts as the company’s spokesperson and is responsible for building relationships with government, media, and other stakeholders while ensuring the development and implementation of PR policies and procedures. The role also includes leading corporate social responsibility communication and programs.

Skills and Educational Background:

  • BA or MA in Public Relations, Law, Management, or related fields of study.
  • Experience: 6 years for MA & 8 years for BA.
  • Key Skills: Communication and Team management, Negotiation, MS Office, Organization and planning, Time management.

3. Surveillance/Security Officer

Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa

Responsibilities:

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
  • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses.
  • Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Ensure the operation of security equipment and surveillance cameras by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Contribute to security team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
  • Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.
  • Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
  • Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, traffic control, and accident investigations.
  • Report suspicious activity, criminal behavior, and security breaches.

Skills and Educational Background:

  • BSC in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Work Experience: Zero (0) work experience required.
  • Key Skills: Computer knowledge, ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, ability to operate CCTV or security cameras, and preferred security experience.
