1. WASH Coordinator

Location: Gambella, Ethiopia

Job Summary:
The WASH Coordinator will be responsible for the overall planning, management, operation, coordination, and monitoring of the WASH project to ensure smooth and efficient implementation. This includes redesigning, executing, monitoring, evaluating, and managing the project budget at the project level in alignment with the goals of Plan International Ethiopia and the Gambella Program Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and implementation of WASH project activities.
  • Ensure the timely and effective execution of project interventions.
  • Coordinate and monitor project progress to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Manage the project budget and ensure financial accountability.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Sanitary Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Health, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in water supply and sanitation development, construction supervision, and contract administration, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with INGOs.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent coordination abilities, and proficiency in monitoring and evaluation.
