Position: Customer Service Officer (Maker) – For Branches under Hawassa District Office

Place of Work: Bule Hora Area (Bule Hora, Gedeb, Era, Haro Kara, Chabi, Mati, Era)
Note: Fluency in Amharic, English, and Afan Oromo languages is required.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Officer (Maker) is responsible for providing front office customer service support at the branch. This includes handling account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, responding to customer inquiries, and managing cash and non-cash transactions as well as all customer requests at the branch.

About You:

Academic & Professional Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field (e.g., Marketing Management, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or any other equivalent field).

Experience:

  • Zero (0) years of experience.
  • Year of Graduation: 2022 G.C and onwards.
  • Age: Not more than 25 years (for external applicants).

  • Awareness and understanding of risk management practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Technical Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of general financial products and services.
  • Good knowledge of the bank’s accounting and procedures.
  • Ability to respond to basic client inquiries and instructions, with the capability to advise and resolve most issues and requests.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a good command of the core banking system.

  • Analytical skills.
