Agriterra has been active in Ethiopia since 2015, focusing on supporting cooperatives.
Internship Overview:
The Data Clerk Intern will assist with Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) tasks, including collecting necessary documents for project monitoring and evaluation, registering farmer and cooperative data in the reporting software Agro-info.net (AIN), and ensuring proper documentation and validation of collected data.
Duration:
August 20th, 2024 – December 31st, 2024
Skill and Educational Background:
- Education: University Degree in Business, Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, Computer Science, or any related fields.
- Knowledge: Data recording, database systems, marketing, entrepreneurship/business development, and sales.
- Experience: No prior experience required.
- Competencies:
- Flexible with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, report writing, problem-solving, and networking skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
- Fluency in English and Amharic.

The project supports 17 primary cooperatives in Ethiopia involved in wheat, maize, and potato value chains.
