The Ethiopian Public Health Association (EPHA) invites qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following position:

1. Assistant Store Keeper

Location: Head Office at Kebena, Arada Sub City, Addis Ababa

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the job is to prepare store vouchers, maintain records of stock items, and assist the storekeeper in performing store management activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Record receipts and issuance of store items.
  • Prepare good receiving reports and store issue vouchers (SIV).
  • Calculate purchase prices and quantities against purchase orders.
  • Prepare statistical reports concerning receipts and issues of store items.
  • Check receipts and issued items against bin card records.
  • Keep store documents and records in safe custody.
  • Participate in inventory taking.
  • Check purchased items against purchase orders before receiving.
  • Prepare statistical reports of stock items.
  • Keep vouchers and other documents in safe custody.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Education: 10+3 or Level IV Diploma in Material Management, Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Required Skills: Good communication skills.
