1. French Speaker – Operations Officer

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Purpose of the Role:
  • To manage end-to-end operations of the Visa Application Center (VAC) while ensuring quality and cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure compliance with set processes and manage people to maximize efficiency.
  • Implement new process rollouts or changes.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Scrutinize and collect documents for visa processing.
  • Handle customer/applicant queries via email, telephone, or in person.
  • Manage cash and bank-related transactions if assigned, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  • Record and maintain all application data with zero errors.
  • Manage administration and logistics for passport delivery to consulates, applicants, or logistics companies.
  • Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures and manuals.
  • Inform applicants about available value-added services and ensure their delivery.
  • Encourage applicants to provide feedback on the services provided.
  • Ensure completion of the entire process within the mandated turnaround time.
  • Assist in executing WB projects as directed by the Deputy Manager/Operations Manager.
  • Adhere to the organization’s environmental health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Salary: 20,275.00 ETB
  • Required: 02 (Two)
  • Skill and Educational Background:
  • Education: BA/BSc Degree in any field.
  • Experience: 0 years (Fresh Graduates).
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in French. Knowledge of an additional international language is advantageous.

2. Arabic Speaker – Operations Officer

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Purpose of the Role:

    • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and good typing speed.
    • Adaptability and the presence of mind to handle customer queries and complaints.
    • Ability to innovate and enhance procedures and methods for increased productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic. Knowledge of an additional international language is advantageous.
