1. Position: Procurement Officer (Maternity Cover)

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Employment Type: Definite / Maternity Cover
  • Salary: USD 578

Job Purpose:
To manage and process procurements for Tigray projects as requested and approved by relevant budget holders, in line with Concern Worldwide’s logistics, warehouse, and finance procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Educational Background: BA/BSc in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience:
  • 4 years of relevant experience with a first degree.
  • 2 years of relevant experience plus a postgraduate degree.
  • NGO experience is a plus.

Skills Required:

  • Basic supervisory/managerial skills.
  • Technical and report writing skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple purchase requests to minimize costs.
  • Planning and processing purchase requests in line with the procurement plan.
  • Teamwork and integrity with a commitment to transparency.

2. Position: Partnership Coordinator

  • Location: Addis Ababa
  • Employment Type: Definite
  • Salary: USD 1335

Job Purpose:
The Partnership Coordinator plays a key role in fostering collaborative partnerships throughout the country program, guided by Concern Worldwide’s Partnership policy, strategy, and core principles. The position requires close collaboration with the Programme Quality Director, wider country team, and partner organizations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Educational Background:
  • 6 years of related experience with a postgraduate degree, or
  • 8 years of related experience with a first degree in Project/Programme Management, Compliance, Organisational Development, Strategic Planning, Systems Development, Governance, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning.
  • Experience:
  • At least 4 years of management experience.
  • Experience in international NGOs is preferred.
  • Experience in Programme Management, Administration, and Finance.
  • Proven management, project management, and donor proposal/report writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and representational skills.
  • Computer literacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Concern Worldwide’s Code of Conduct and Programme Participant Protection Policy (P4).
  • Promote and support the standards of conduct and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to the establishment of preventive measures to reduce potential abuse in Concern programmes.
