Awash Bank invites competent and qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:

1. Director – Digital Operations Directorate

  • Educational Background:
    • MSc Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Information Technology, or related fields.
    • A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience in the banking industry, with at least five (5) years in managerial positions, including proven experience in Digital Channels, IT Security Development, and Project Management.
  • Job Summary:
    • The Director will lead digital banking operations, ensuring effective management of digital channels such as Cards, ATMs, and POS support. The role includes overseeing the reconciliation of all receivables and payables accounts for transactions and managing vendor services related to ATMs and POS.
  • Place of Work: Addis Ababa (V.No HO/00939/24)

2. Director – Digital Business Development Directorate

  • Educational Background:
    • MSc Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Information Technology, or MA in Management, Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance, or related fields.
    • A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience in the banking industry, with at least three (3) years in managerial positions, including experience in digital banking.
  • Job Summary:
    • The Director will lead the development of digital products and partnerships, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and the bank’s strategic goals.

3. Manager – Capital Market Project Division

  • Educational Background:
    • BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Project Management, Economics, or related fields.
    • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, with at least three (3) years in supervisory positions. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • Job Summary:
    • The Manager will oversee the capital market project, ensuring its successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

4. Manager – Fund Investment Division

  • Educational Background:
    • BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Project Management, Economics, or related fields.
    • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, with at least three (3) years in supervisory positions. A Master’s degree in a finance-related field is an added advantage.
  • Job Summary:
    • The Manager will oversee and manage the bank’s investment portfolios, ensuring optimal asset allocation and performance in line with the bank’s investment strategy.

5. Manager – Vendor Management Division

  • Educational Background:
    • BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields.
    • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in IT areas, with at least three (3) years in supervisory positions.
  • Job Summary:
    • The Manager will be responsible for managing enterprise architecture and vendor-related activities to achieve the bank’s strategic objectives.

6. Senior – IFB Product Development Officer

  • Educational Background:
    • BA Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or related fields.
    • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in banking operations, with at least two (2) years in IFB Officer Services.
  • Job Summary:
    • The Officer will plan, organize, lead, and control the IFB product development division, ensuring the products meet customer satisfaction goals and align with the bank’s overall strategy.
  • Place of Work: Addis Ababa (V.No HO/00944/24)

Terms of Employment: Permanent

Salary & Benefits: As per the bank’s salary scale and benefits package.
