Position: System Administrator
Job Summary:
- Support business continuity and growth by monitoring and controlling different systems and domain environments of the company.
- Perform upgrading and maintenance tasks on hardware and software.
- Resolve technical problems and ensure system security and efficient operation on a daily basis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain networked computer systems, including system software and applications.
- Administer user accounts according to company policy.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with user and computer accounts policies.
- Backup and safeguard data to mitigate risks.
- Optimize processes and recommend improvements.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Skill and Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/BIS/MIS, or related fields.
- MS Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator/Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certificate is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in a technical analytical position managing server environments.
Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Operating Systems.
- Proficiency in Cloud Computing, clustering, and virtualization.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and network protocols.
- General knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of systems planning, security principles, and software management best practices.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
