The Talent Firm Internship Opportunity Announcement

System Strengthening through Skills and Internship (SStSI) is an internship program designed and implemented by The Talent Firm, commissioned by Target Business Consultants, and participating Federal Ministries.

Program Overview:
SStSI aims to provide young graduates with valuable work experience, opportunities to work alongside senior professionals at Federal ministries, coaching and mentoring programs, and a deeper understanding of public service. This program helps young graduates apply their educational training in 12-month federal opportunities, contributing to society and gaining practical experience in a structured environment.

The Talent Firm is recruiting young talent for the SStSI project to support the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MiNT). Fresh graduates meeting the minimum requirements and selected through a strict assessment process will be placed in paid internships to develop a diverse pool of young talent for MiNT.

Internship Opportunity

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Communication, Journalism, Literature, Marketing, and relevant fields
  • Humanities or Social Sciences and relevant fields
  • Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, and relevant fields
  • Education/General Education, Leadership Development, Economics, Development Economics, International Development, Public Policy, Public Administration, Psychology, Political Science, and relevant fields
  • Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, and relevant fields
  • International Relations, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Management Studies, Public Administration, and relevant fields
  • Finance, Business Administration, or Public Administration and relevant fields

Program Benefits:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Ethiopian citizens
  • Demonstrated passion for public service
  • Fresh graduates of ONLY the year 2023/2015 E.C. or 2024/2016 E.C. from an accredited educational institution in an undergraduate program
  • Superior academic achievement with a CGPA of 3.0 and above
