1. Education Cluster IMS Intern

Role Purpose:

The Education Cluster Information Management Intern supports the information management work of the Education Cluster. The intern will work closely with the National Education Cluster Co-Coordinator (Save the Children) and the National Information Management Specialist (UNICEF).

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related disciplines.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interest in project management.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

2. TSFP Warehouse Officer

  • Location: Shilabo and Kalafe, Somali Region
  • Grade: 4A

Role Purpose:

The TSFP Warehouse Officer manages and oversees the warehouse system in the assigned woreda, including inventory management, planning, and documentation updates. Responsibilities include food receiving, dispatching, proper stacking, FIFO practice, and maintaining communication with transporters for timely commodity dispatch.

Skill and Educational Background:

  • BSc in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or Nursing/Human Nutrition.
  • Minimum four years of working experience for BSc holders, six years for Diploma holders, with at least two years in emergency health & nutrition fields.
  • Knowledge in TSFP Program IMAM and store management systems.
  • Skills in program planning, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in Amharic, English, and local language.
  • Strong computer and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork and problem-solving skills.

The Mobile Health & Nutrition Officer supports Save the Children’s emergency programmes in Somali, focusing on promoting accountability to beneficiaries and improving the quality and impact of projects.

Skill and Educational Background:

  • BSc/College Diploma in Nursing or other health-related fields.
  • At least four years of working experience, with two years in NGOs.
  • Experience in nutrition and health program implementation.
  • Good written and spoken ability of the local language.
  • Flexibility, independence, and the ability to cope with stress.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work in remote and potentially insecure environments.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of international accountability standards (HAP), experience with international NGOs, social work, and child-friendly accountability systems.
