Position 1: Pharmacist
Location: Tigray Program Area, Axum
Job Description:
- Ensure effective management and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in field settings.
- Provide accurate and timely medication to patients.
- Enhance the capacity of local health facilities through training and mentoring.
- Maintain rigorous inventory and documentation practices.
- Support the overall health and nutrition objectives.
- Work closely with the Mobile Health and Nutrition Team to ensure the health and safety of patients.
- Dispense, pack, and label prescribed medications.
- Manage pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Conduct weekly inventories and file paperwork.
- Compile progress reports, documentation, and share best practices and lessons learned in medical supply management.
Skill and Educational Background:
- BSc in Pharmacy Technician, Pharmacist, Pharmacology fields of study.
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in Mobile Health and Nutrition Team drug and pharmaceuticals management.
- Knowledge of policy and practice in the field of Medical Supply Management.
- Understanding of WHO’s guidelines on warehouse management for Medical Supply Management.
- Computer literate in word processing and Excel packages.
- Understanding of child rights and their protection and fulfilment in the development context.

Position 2: MHPSS Officer
Location: Tigray Program Area, Axum & Chila
Job Description:
- Organize and conduct activities linked to Mental Health and Psycho-Social Supports under the emergency health project.
- Work within a CMAM approach with close supervision of health staff (HEWs/HWs) at health centers, health posts, communities, and home levels.
Skill and Educational Background:
- Education at Bachelor Degree/Diploma level or equivalent in fields such as Psychiatry, Psychology, Public Health, Sociology, Anthropology, and related disciplines.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in working at IDPs and hard-to-reach areas.
- Computer literate in word processing and Excel packages.
- Understanding of child rights and their protection and fulfilment in the development context.
