The company began as a distribution agent for imported and locally manufactured textile products and has expanded its operations significantly over the years.

Job Description:

The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services necessary for our construction sector (Real Estate). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the real estate and construction industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate potential construction suppliers, negotiate contracts, and purchase high-quality construction materials and products that meet the company’s standards and budget.
  • Construction Materials Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess. Coordinate with the warehouse and construction teams to manage inventory effectively.
  • Construction Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, address issues promptly, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Construction Cost Management: Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Construction Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and industry regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the construction and logistics teams to understand their needs and provide timely support.

Skill and Educational Background:

  • Education: BA Degree in Purchasing Management, Procurement and Supply Management, or other related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the real estate and construction industry.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proactive approach to managing supplier relationships.
