Position: Customer Relationship Officer
Summary of the Role:
As a Customer Relationship Officer, you will coordinate between external & internal customers such as the sales team & CSD/operations to process customer orders by active involvement to ensure orders and invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, resulting in the best service possible to the customer. This position will be based in Addis Ababa and reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate activities with the Customer Service Department, ensuring customer orders are processed promptly and efficiently.
- Process and verify the accuracy of orders from customers to achieve Jotun’s on-time delivery performance objective.
- Follow up with the warehouse for all customer reports of deliveries.
- Handle customer inquiries through e-mail, telephone, or face-to-face professionally.
- Process customer returns according to Jotun’s Guidelines and Procedures.
- Communicate with sales and customers to verify order details and resolve inconsistencies.
- Work closely with the Finance Department to resolve disputed credit items.
- Ensure all exception and promotion customer pricing follows Jotun’s guidelines.
- Handle customer complaints effectively to increase customer satisfaction.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS-Excel

Position: Purchasing Coordinator
Summary of the Role:
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will manage and execute operational purchasing tasks as delegated by the Purchasing Manager in line with Group Purchasing policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures. This role is based in Addis Ababa and reports to the Purchasing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and plan the requirement for designated Indirect and Raw material categories.
- Source, select, and approve suppliers for designated Indirect Material categories.
- Support user departments in ensuring optimal Indirect and raw material specifications.
- Ensure the best possible agreements for designated Indirect Material categories by following the Tactical Purchasing Process.
- Implement and follow up global or regional agreements as relevant.
- Place and follow up orders in Matrix based on agreements/contracts.
- Execute invoice control according to company guidelines.
- Implement the Category Management Concept for selected Indirect Material categories.
- Report on agreed KPIs to the Purchasing Manager.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Purchasing in a manufacturing industry
