About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Handle personnel matters such as recruitment, placement, transfer, promotion, demotion, termination, salary increment, and benefits administration as per company rules and labor law.
- Participate in planning short- and long-term manpower requirements.
- Process employee requisitions, check staffing plans and budgets, and seek approval for advertising vacancies.
- Facilitate interviewing and testing of applicants and submit proposals to management.
- Provide advice and guidance on company personnel policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist employees with personal and work-related problems.
- Prepare and submit complex correspondence.
- Resolve staff issues such as performance, absenteeism, and grievances through interviews and remedial actions.
- Administer pension schemes, benefits, recreational facilities, and other welfare programs.
- Handle employee disciplinary issues.
- Liaise with HR units of respective plants/factories to meet manpower requirements and address personnel matters.
- Maintain confidential personnel records.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Public Administration, or a related field from a recognized university/college.
- At least 3 years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Hillmark) is an advantage.
