USAID Ethiopia is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Climate and Natural Resource Management (CNRM) Advisor. The CNRM Advisor will be part of the Economic Growth and Resilience (EGR) Office and will serve as the Mission’s lead representative on climate issues, providing technical direction and advising on policies that advance USG and Government of Ethiopia (GoE) objectives.

Position: Climate and Natural Resource Management (CNRM) Advisor

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of international development and/or international business work experience is required.

Market Value:

  • $88,520 to $115,079, equivalent to GS-13.
  • The final compensation will be negotiated within the listed market value based on the successful candidate’s salary history, work experience, and educational background.
  • Salaries over and above the top of the pay range will not be entertained or negotiated.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, natural resource management, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable finance, low carbon development, or other related fields.
